Look 3 Muy Pop/ Very Pop: Cebra en degradado/Gradient Zebra

El sábado fui al concierto de Hombres G y deciros que fue una pasada!! Me harté de bailar y cantar y recordar momentos de mi infancia./On Saturday, I attended the Hombres G concert and I must say that it was awesome!! I danced and sang so much, recollecting memories from my childhood.

Todavía ayer seguía con esa ilusión y adrenalina en el cuerpo y como me quería hacer la manicura, me inspiré en ellos y en el pañuelo que me ha acompañado en los conciertos a los que he podido ir./ Yesterday I still had this shot of adrenaline and excitement and as I wanted to make myself the manicure, I inspired on them and the scarf that has been in all the concerts I have been able to attend so far.

La base es con la laca de Sephora "Money Maker" (me ha costado encontrar el nombre en la etiqueta). Es un gris mate muy mono. Las lacas de Sephora están viniendo en una consistencia espesa y brocha redondeada y ancha para que con una pasada esté lista. Yo tuve que añadirle disolvente, aunque está nueva, porque es tan espesa que a veces cuesta extenderla por la uña.
The base is Sephora nail polish in "Money Maker" (it has been a little bit difficult for me to find the name on the label). It is a nice matte grey. Sephora nail polishes run in a thick consistency and a wide and rounded brush to apply it with a single coat. I had to add pure acetone as a thinner, though it is almost brand-new, because it is so thick that it is hard to spread it all over the nail.

Konading Look 2: Encaje sobre rosa. /Lace over Pink.

Tenía muchas ganas de hacer este look. Me encantan las lacas de H&M, creo que en otro post os he hablado de ellas.
I felt so much doing this look. I love H&M nail polishes, I have mentioned them in a previous post, I think.

La verdad es que desde que tengo el kit de Konad, estoy entusiasmada. The truth is, since I got my Konad kit I am so excited.

El primer motivo que estampé fue la flor negra y tuve algunas dificultades con la laca y la presión del sello. Esta vez seguí con la placa de Konad (haré una revisión completa de la de Essence más adelante) y quería estampar un motivo mayor y con otro color.
The first design I stamped was the black flower and I found some difficulties with the polish and the pressure of the stamper onto the nail. This time I stuck to Konad (I'll make a review on Essence soon) and I intended to stamp a bigger motif and in a different colour.

Aquí está el resultado: Rosa con encaje blanco. And here is the result: Pink with white lace.

Xheken Solución vs Xheken Capilar.

Os debía esta revisión desde hace tiempo, justo desde que hice el post sobre la crema Xhekpon. /I owed you this review, just since I wrote the post about Xhekpon cream.

Estaba tan encantada con Xhekpon, que nos animamos en casa (mi madre y yo) a probar productos de esta marca, Vectem./ I was so happy with Xhekpon, that we tried (my mom and I) some products by this brand, Vectem.

RESULTADOS/RESULTS
Para la piel: es un producto fresco, nada pegajoso, que se absorbe con facilidad, que deja una sensación  de firmeza en la piel del cuerpo./For the skin is a fresh product, non-sticky, that is absorbed easily and leaves a feeling of firmness on your skin.

Look de prueba: Lavanda y flor negra/Trial Look: Lavender and Black Flower.

Sinceramente, viendo los looks tan trabajados y estilosos que aparecen por Internet, esto es algo modesto y poco pensado, sólo para probar. Honestly, after seeing the so well worked out and smart that you can find on the Internet, this is something humble and ill thought-out.

Como comentaba en un post anterior, tengo tres lacas de estampación: plata, negra y blanca. Estas dos últimas mates. La negra pensé que me vendría bien con los colores más claros y la negra para los oscuros, y es cierto.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I own three nail polishes in silver, black and white. These two latter, matte ones. I thought the black would suit on the soft colours and the white on the darker ones, and it's quite true.

Como la primera estampación completa que obtuve fue con la laca negra me decidí a estampar. Tengo que decir que la pigmentación es estupenda, y la calidad del dibujo, pero estoy un poco desilusionada con el color negro. Es demasiado, no sé, obvio. As the first whole design I got was this I decided to proceed. I must admit that the pigmentation is great, and the quality of the drawing, but I am a little bit disappointed with the black lacquer. It looks, I don't know, too obvious.

Konad vs Essence.

Es un descubrimiento esto del Nail Art y un hobby bastante entretenido y creativo. Desde que me llegó el pedido de Maquillalia he hecho dos looks de estampaciones y quiero compartir mis experiencias con vosotros.
What a discovery Nail Art is, it is also a very fun and creative hobby. Sice I got my order from Maquillalia I have made two looks and I'd like to share my experiences with you.

PLACAS DE ESTAMPACIÓN/ IMAGE PLATES

Apenas hay diferencia, aparente. Essence ha lanzado placas rectangulares que incluyen 9 diseños, mientras que Konad tiene 7. A primera vista las placas de Konad parecen como un pelín más profundas. Esto está basado en meras conjeturas ya que el tallado es algo minúsculo.
There is hardly any difference, apparently. Essence has launched rectangular plates with 9 designs, as Konad include only 7. At first sight Konad plates seem slightly deeper. This is based on a mere impression as the carving is tiny.

Mi pedido a Maquillalia/My Order to Maquillalia.

Hace tiempo que conozco esta web, que tiene su sede en Málaga, a través de algun@s bloggers y gurús en YT. I have known this web long time ago, which has headquarters is in Malaga, by means of some gurus and bloggers.

Nunca había hecho ningún pedido, pero como sabéis, mi última adicción confesa son las lacas de uñas (qué se le va a hacer, me ha dado por ahí). I had never placed an order here before, but as you may know, my lastest self-confessed obsession are nail polishes (that's life, I'm into this).

Quería probar hace tiempo las placas de estampación de Konad, me imagino que las conoceréis porque hay miles y miles de vídeos y tutoriales en Internet. Primero busqué en Ebay, pero esperar por una puja no es lo mío, y decidí mirar en Maquillalia. I really wanted to try the Konad stamping plates, I guess you know them because there are thousand of videos and tutorials on the Internet. I first searched on Ebay, but waiting for a bid is not very me, and decided to take a look in Maquillalia.

Tengo que decir que prácticamente venden casi de todo lo deseable de Konad y Essence en tema de esmaltes y decoración de uñas. I must admit that they almost sell anything you wish by Konad and Essence about nail art.

Así pues, me puse manos a la obra y realicé un pedido el pasado sábado. So, I got down to work and placed an order last Saturday.

Os comento mi idea y lo que ocurrió al final. This was my idea and what happened in the end.

Holy Preppy: The Bow Collection.

Holy Preppy es de esas firmas abiertamente pijas, sin complejos. Acaban de sacar su colección de SS11, y la han llamado "The Bow Collection". La colección del lazo (¿hay algo más piji que un lazo, por Dior?).
Holy Preppy is one of those openly posh fashion brand, without any hussle. They have just uploaded their SS11 collection called "The Bow Collection". The collection of the bow (is there anything more posh than a bow?).

Esta colección es más veraniega que otra cosa, es fresca y abundan los colores blancos, beige y rosa pastel. Dejan la puerta muy abierta al momento denim.
This collection is more apt for summer than anything else, it is fresh and the main colours are white, beige and soft pink. They have left a door open to the denim attitude.


Tienen camisetas y chaquetas muy monas, como esta que luce la clónica de Letizia Ortiz. They have very nice shirts and jackets, like this one, worn by a clone of Letizia Ortiz.

Vestidos con estampados florales, muy naïve. Eso sí, ni penséis en llevar sujetador. Dresses in floral prints, very naïve. Don't even consider the idea of wearing a bra.

Al mal tiempo, buena laca/ Put on a Brave Lacquer on it.

Mi última afición de shopahólica novata es comprar lacas de uñas, de colores. Tienen que ser de colores para poder traérmelas a casa sabiendo que no es un color repetido, ejem...
My last goal as an amateur shopaholic is to purchase nail polishes, in bright colours. They must be coloured to bring them home knowing it is not a repeated colour, ehem...

Y no me está dando por comprar en Dior o Chaneles varios (menos mal), sino por H&M. La firma de moda, sí, que también tiene artículos de cosmética.
Even I am not into Dior or various Chanels (a relief), but H&M. The fashion brand, yes, also merchandises beauty products.


He descubierto que en general son lacas de uñas que no tienen nada que envidiar a las grandes firmas, por no decir que incluso hay casos en los que son mejores.
